I’ve been more than a little obsessed with my garden this year, and our budget wasn’t prepared to pay for more raised beds right now (our garden area requires raised beds thanks to our soil). We have more space to plant stuff without worry of crowding out the in-ground garden beds. We currently have tomatoes, squash, potatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, sage, cabbage, collards and flowers growing in the bags.An added bonus is that they're easy to move even when filled with dirt; but you still have to use caution if you're moving them after they've gotten a soaking. If you’re skeptical, I highly recommend giving them a shot.A little challenging to fill with dirt, but once about 1/3 full, goes fine.The material for this grow bag is thick (300G). It's sturdier than other grow bags that I have purchased in the past. I preferred the grow bag over a plastic pot as it allow excess water to drain quickly. Its 2 handles are very useful when you need to move the bag around. It should last several years. Well, I will see how it looks after a few years under the Florida hot sun. The plastic pot will probably outlast the grow bag.
