(One photo is both plants in 5 gallon prior with other smaller plants in foreground, prior to adding my fish. Second photo is a closer shot after I rearranged tank, I did remove one of these plants to add some live plants. Oh and Taz is trying to get attention.. aka food.)I bought these during the set up for my Bettas new 5 gal tank. I was looking for something tall to fill up the background but I’m always hesitant to use plastic and extremely picky when choosing artificial plants. Let’s be honest, fish keeping can get pricey so I’m always on the lookout for a good deal but always putting my pets safety & health first. So, if I thought there was even a slight chance that it would rip my Bettas fins I would have never placed them in his tank. I decided to give these a chance and they actually exceeded my expectations. They are tall with leaves that vary in size and very thin & very soft for plastic. The stems don’t have wire on the inside and are flexible enough to move with the water flow. Personally, I think they are aesthetically pleasing, they don’t scream “PLASTIC” and don’t look extremely cheap.. In MY opinion, for the price, you can’t beat it. I’m happy and Taz likes them. I wouldn’t try putting in anything smaller than a 5gallon because of the size of the leaves and how tall they are. Although I’m only using one at the moment, I plan on using again in the future. I’d recommend!A bit too tall, huge leaves and light green, there’s glue? Or something at the bottom. It’s okay.Theses are pretty soft and a little flowy. I feel like they’d work for a beta but can’t say for sure. I have just one in use to block the view of the filter and heater.I was wary of this purchase, because I am very careful about not putting things in my tank that could damage my betta's fins and tail. The plants exceeded my expectations in feeling safe for my betta. They are definitely easier to clean than silk plants, and they look much nicer than the old silk plants I had. My silk plants tend to fray after a while, so I'm excited not to have that issue anymore. They look fairly realistic for fake plants, and move attractively with the water current. We have a betta in a 10 gallon tank and he loves big leaves to rest on. This was the perfect addition to our tank. He slides himself between the leaves and just hangs out. I buried the base under the rocks and it looks almost as good as our real plants. They are easy to clean and durable. Great seller and would buy from them again! If you have a long tail Betta and are cautious about their fins getting sliced, these are for you! They are very soft and smooth and have no sharp edges. My new halfmoon betta absolutely loves them and will even lounge on them near the surface. These also look pretty real when submerged in water. Highly recommend if you have delicately finned fish! These are amazing! The only problem I would say is that they don’t open up like I’d like them to, even in the water. The stem part is quite stiff! But my baby axolotls love hiding between the stems and with it being weighed down I never have problems with them moving! Great purchase :)
